PAYMENT CONDITIONS

Full payment is required to confirm bookings.

We accept Visa or Master Card only. Please fill in the relevant fields on the booking form to supply: Name, Card type, Card Number, CCV and Expiry Date. We also accept direct debit by arrangement but credit card details must also be provided as security deposit. A 3.0 % credit card fee is applied to all credit card payments. Rates are subject to change without notice except for confirmed bookings.

 

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

For a booking cancelled with at least 14 day’s notice, the full amount paid at the time of the booking will be refunded less a $20.00 administration fee.

For a booking cancelled within 3-14 day’s notice will incur a fee of 50% of the amount paid at the time of the booking.

A booking cancelled with less than 3 day’s notice, there will be no refund.

However if the property is rebooked the applicable cancellation fees will be refunded.

No Refunds on Early Departures.

Discretion will be used by management in extenuating circumstances.

 

BOOKING CONDITIONS

Door codes will be made available upon or just prior to arrival. Check-in Time is 2pm. Check-out time is 11am. However we are flexible with these times, so please ask prior to arrival.

The number of guests should not exceed the number stated on the booking application.

Sage Cottage & Lavender Suite are rented for holiday and leisure use only, no functions are permitted.

Please keep noise to a minimum after 11.00pm out of courtesy for the neighbours.

When leaving the house at any time, please ensure that ALL electrical appliances, lights and heaters are turned off and that all doors are locked.

Please note the internal fireplace in the Lounge Room is for decorative purposes only and is not to be used for lighting a fire. The same applies to the external “garden” fireplace in the outdoor entertaining area.

 

WiFi

The Wifi password will be provided to Guests upon check-in. Please be mindful that complimentary Wifi is not provided for downloading large amounts of data.

 

SMOKING

Sage Cottage & Lavender Suite are strictly no smoking facilities.

Please do not smoke inside of the premises.

Smoking is permitted in the outdoor areas only and please use the ash trays supplied. Please shut verandah doors if smoking outside. Please bag and dispose of all butts in the outdoor rubbish bin supplied in the carport. Please wash & dry ashtrays after use.

We appreciate that this policy is strictly upheld for the comfort and health of all guests.

 

BREAKAGES AND DAMAGES

Credit card details are held by us for security purposes. We expect that the premises are returned to us in the condition presented upon arrival.

Breakage and damages exclusive to the effects of normal wear and tear will be charged to your credit card if necessary.

Please report any damage immediately to management.

It is not our intention to charge for replacement of accidental broken glassware or plates for example.

Charges will be imposed only if the facilities are left in an unreasonable condition:

– Dirty dishes not washed, dried and put away

– Rubbish not removed and placed in bins provided

– Soiled or stained bed covers, rugs upholstery etc.

– Loss or damaged remote controls

– Pets are not allowed

Any breakage or damage to the property, its fittings and facilities will be charged to the guest at replacement/repair cost plus 10%.

 

LEAVING THE PROPERTY

When vacating Sage Cottage and Lavender Suite guests should ensure the following:

All rubbish from all internal bins should be removed and placed in the rubbish & recycle bins in the carport.

All dishes, cutlery and cookware should be washed, dried and put away. The dishwasher in the main Kitchen should be emptied.

The stove top and oven should be cleaned and left free of all spillages.

All furniture, and appliances should be in the same place as when guests arrived.

Please ensure that ALL electrical appliances, lights and heaters are turned off and that the doors are locked.

 

LIABILITIES

Although all care will be taken, the Owners take no responsibility for guest’s personal property, damaged, lost or left on the premises during or after departure. Any items left behind will be returned at the guest’s expense.

 

The Oaks Accommodation does not accept liability for any injury, damage or loss and additional expenses caused directly or indirectly by events, which are beyond our control. We do not accept liability for errors, omissions, default or negligence represented on our Website.
